This review is long overdue. I met this beautiful soul one morning heading to take care of some very stressful business uptown. She greeted me with a smile and an open ear and kind words. I don't know why it seems to be easier to talk to a stranger as opposed to someone you know but I'm so blessed that it was Lorraine. During the course of the event, I had to come uptown several times and after meeting her, I would stop by to see if she was working. She made me the best matcha I have ever had hands down. I must be honest and say, when I would stop by and she was not there I would not order my matcha. I have been going to Starbucks long before it was fashionable. I remember when they opened one of the first Starbucks in Dallas , Texas up the street from the bank where I worked. That was in the early two thousands because my son was born in ninety eight and he was a baby at that time. There is a Starbucks location up the street from where I live. I won't give the location but I went there go a matcha and it did not measure up to the way Lorraine made it. I came all the way uptown just to have her make my matcha. She is so humble. She didn't say anything derogatory in regards to the experience at the other store. She was very professional. She took ownership and apologized for the experience. She made sure that she took extra care in making my matcha. She even let me do a taste test to ensure I was satisfied. Lorraine is the best of both worlds, a counselor and barista all in one. She has a beautiful accent from the islands that matches her beautiful heart. I want Starbucks to know and recognize one of their Top Tier Baristas. I can't wait for my next trip uptown. #JesusChristisLord
This Starbucks is a small location but that's usual for a metropolitan downtown barrista. There are some tables with some comfortable bench style leather seats as an option more small circular tables along the front and there are outlets which is super nice, when charging on the go. Service is flawless, atmosphere with the music kinda shoots you back to the early 30s mid 30s feel. I like it.
I recently visited the Starbucks at [Location] and had the pleasure of being assisted by Justin. He was incredibly helpful and made my visit truly enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, Justin greeted me with a warm smile and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made all the difference. Justin's knowledge of the menu and his recommendations were spot on. He went above and beyond to ensure my order was perfect and even suggested a new drink that I absolutely loved. The level of service he provided was exceptional, and it’s clear he takes pride in his work. I left Starbucks feeling appreciated and well taken care of, all thanks to Justin. I will definitely be returning, and I hope to see him again. Kudos to Starbucks for having such an outstanding team member!
fancy starbucks. starbucks is all over uptown charlotte every block redeem my birthday reward here and the Frappuccino was good. I placed the wrong location I thought it was East Trade street by the transit center but it was on 201 West Trade street.
I was looking up the time this Starbucks opens and I was shocked to see a 4.1 rating... This is by far the best Starbucks in Charlotte. The baristas are so quick.... Even when it's packed. They are so friendly... They remember your name and even your dog's name if you come in with the dog. I am a regular and would expect my order to be wrong occasionally as it is with other Starbucks... But so far they are at a 100%. For me this Starbucks should be a 5.0 rating.
It seems like Starbucks has been going downhill the last few years and this one definitely didn't improve my opinion. The staff seemed disinterested, the coffee was lukewarm and there was a poor selection of food.
We stopped here for breakfast on an overnight layover on 12/09/22. Staff was super friendly and fast, we got our order almost immediately after ordering, and the store was clean and the vibes were immaculate. Better than the Starbucks back home for sure.
Standard Starbucks coffee experience. Service was a little slow, but the line was long, and they were busy when we went. Order was accurate though.
